The problem
Health ratings for bars, restaurants and bakeries needed to leave the paperwork and become public, searchable information, without losing institutional control over who issues and maintains each seal.
My contribution
I built the platform on a domain-modular architecture that brings together the public site, admin panel, identity and authentication, accounts, application clients and the institutional area. Its centrepiece is establishment registration wired to the Google Places API, where an autocomplete search pulls in the name, the address split into fields, coordinates, phone, website and a cover photo, then translates Google's categories into the platform's own food-service categories. Dragging the map marker triggers reverse geocoding. I also built the publications and media CMS backed by S3 storage, the public map with clustering in Leaflet and the test suite that covers the application.
